Henley Executive MBA highest ranked programme delivered in the Nordics

Henley’s Executive MBA (EMBA) has been listed among the top 70 business schools in the world according to the Financial Times EMBA ranking 2021. Our programme is again the highest ranked EMBA programme delivered in the Nordics with strong positions for student satisfaction, diversity, and corporate social responsibility.

This year’s Financial Times EMBA ranking, published on Monday, 18 October 2021, sees the Henley EMBA highly placed for student satisfaction. Alumni were asked to rate their overall satisfaction with the programme, feedback which places the Henley EMBA no. 11 in Europe and no. 31 in the world for this measure.

As a business school we are strong advocates for equity, diversity and inclusion and are delighted to be ranked no. 4 in Europe and the world for the percentage of women in our full-time faculty. We also maintained a strong position in the world top 20 for the percentage of international students (71%).

Following on from our PRME report to the United Nations earlier this month, we are proud that Henley’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is reflected in the FT EMBA rankings. We have been ranked no. 17 in Europe and no. 30 in the world based on the proportion of core courses dedicated to environment, social and governance issues.

Looking at career progress, Henley is ranked in the European top 30 for careers progress, salary increase, student work experience and aims achieved. This is a testament to the quality of our programme content and our outstanding careers and professional development service. Our learners’ success is also evident in the high salary percentage increases that graduates command three years after completing their Executive MBA. The FT calculates an average increase for learners of 55% (no. 24 in Europe).

We are pleased to see Henley ranked highly for international course experience (no. 34 in Europe), which reflects our global syllabus and study visits. The programme delivered locally in Denmark includes selected workshops together with the international cohort from the UK, Finland and Germany in Henley, UK and Copenhagen, DK. In addition, it includes immersive international study experiences in which students work with NGOs or charities in South Africa and with high growth companies in the USA, to make a direct impact on organisations grappling with critical social issues and with challenges relating to internationalisation.

Overall, the ranking places Henley in the European top 30 (no. 29) and in the world top 70 (no. 61) business schools making Henley Business School the highest ranked provider of EMBA programmes both in Denmark and the whole Nordic countries.

“We are delighted to remain the highest ranked provider of EMBA programmes in Denmark. This is of paramount importance to us, as we work hard to give our students an immersive programme that delivers the personal and professional growth that they seek. So many students tell us that their Henley Executive MBA - Global is a life-changing experience. The inspiring, collaborative work that takes place between our students and South African NGOs, tackling complex social issues, enables our students to see the world through a fresh lens. This helps create a deeply rewarding personal and professional development journey that makes our Executive MBA – Global programme unique.”

Dr Anne Dibley, Head of Post-Experience Postgraduate Programmes

The Henley Executive MBA – Global is a UK-based programme which is delivered in the UK, Denmark, Finland and Germany.
